A few years ago, our family wandered into a NuCamp dealership in Monrovia, California. We were charmed by the stylish, well-constructed teardrop trailers, but both our cars were compact hatchbacks. The dealer was kind. He gave us a full-color brochure and told us to return when we had a tougher tow vehicle.
We still have the flyer. We stuck it to our refrigerator—a tribute to our dreams of outdoor travel. Now, years later and many pennies saved, we have access to a truck, and we have purchased our first teardrop trailer.
We chose the T@B 400 because it has a separate sleeping space for Bea and because Oscar can stand up in it.
The dealership in Monrovia has since gone out of business, but we got a fair deal from Rogers RV in Burnett, TX. We will travel to Texas to collect the trailer.
We have never RVed, but we are enthusiastic.
